Tax Mill Rates

Below are the mill rates for the 2024 payable 2025 property taxes.  The mill rate is the amount of tax for each dollar of value.  So in the example below, for the net tax rate you will see a mill rate of .01651091 for those properties within the Milton School Districte.  That would be 1.65 cents of tax per $1.00 of value of your property.  So you can extend that out to show for every $10 in value we pay 16.51 cents.  For every $100 in property vaule we pay $1.65.  For every $1000 in property value we pay $16.51.  For Every $10,000 in value we pay $165.11 and for every $100,000 in value we pay $1651.09.  Those amounts include Rock County tax, Harmony Tax, The School District tax, and the Blackhawk Teck tax, subtracting the State School credit given.  The town of Harmony taxes per $100,000 is $270.67.

New Stop Signs on the Corner of Bingham and Henke

Please note, We will be taking the corner of Bingham Road and Henke Road to a three way stop.  This is the section of Bingham that passess by the Vinyard subdivison.  This should happen sometime in the next couple of weeks.  We will over sign this corner to grab attention of those traveling on Henke Road.  Several stop signs and stop ahead signs.

HOWEVER, PLEASE USE CAUTION!!!

Please be very carefull when pulling out on Henke Road off Bingham Road for a very long time.  Henke has not had a stop sign in the area ever and it will take everyone time to get familar with it.

Roads are open to ATV/UTV traffic

After a long wait, the Town roads are open to ATV/UTV travel.  Begining routes will be sigened and will have end signs where the roads  go to into another town or city.  Townline Road is NOT open to ATV/UTV travel.  Townline Road is mutually controlled by the Town of Harmony and the Town of Milton.  At this point the Town of Milton has not approved ATV/UTV use on their roads.  I have attached below the Ordinance for The Town of Harmony.  Become familar with this ordiance.  County Roads at this point are NOT open for ATV/UTV travel though you may cross these County Roads to continue on the trail.  Tarrant Road is open from Bingham Rd to County Road A.  South of A is controlled by the Town of Johnstown and they do not have an ordinance allowing for ATV/UTV travel.  Please read through the Ordinance.
