As we all know, we have been hit by numerous storms with the loss of a lot of trees and limbs. I spoke with the county concerning the cleanup. The County is working all around Rock County cleaning up from the tornados and the numerous storms we have had. For trees and limbs that were in the Right of Way (Ditchlines) the county will be cleaning those up but they will need some time to complete with the cleanup around the county. The county estimated they should be caugt up July 24th.
With the wet soil it is possible that additional trees may come down and there may be more storms coming. If a tree comes down on the roadway, please call the Rock County Non-Emergency number provided, there is no damage to life or property,. That number is

Just as a heads up, the town does not have a sight to take trees and shrubs. If you have a fire pit or your neighbor does, that would be the least exepensive. In talking with several tree trimmers today, they are booking up fast for full tree removal and just branch cleanup.
