The Harmony Town Board will meet at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Harmony Town Hall, 440 N. Hwy. 14, Janesville.

Items on the agenda include discussion and possible action on the following: illicit discharge ordinance, outdoor wood burning stoves, dog ordinance, cemetery, expiring seat on planning & zoning committee, set date for open book and set date for board of review. Regular items on the agenda include approval of bills, reports from the treasurer, building inspector and zoning officer, and upcoming events. 

A quorum of the Planning and Zoning Committee may attend this meeting for information gathering purposes.

Smart Growth Workshop On:
Chapter 7: Economic Development, and
Chapter 8: Intergovernmental Cooperation

The Town of Harmony, along with Rock County Planning and Development, invites the public to an open meeting and workshop. This workshop is likely to include an overview of the proposed Economic Development and Intergovernmental Cooperation Elements of the Town Harmony Comprehensive Plan  2035 including discussion and public input on the issues and policies presented in those Elements. All Town of Harmony residents are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held at the Town of Harmony Town Hall at:

440 N. Highway 14
Janesville, WI 
Tuesday March 23, 2009 7:00 pm.

It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of governmental bodies of the Town of Harmony may be in attendance at this meeting to gather information: no action will be taken by any governmental body at the meeting.
