TOWN OF HARMONY NEWS
The Town of Harmony will hold the public hearing for the budget at 6:45p.m., on Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Harmony Town Hall, 440 N. Hwy. 14, Janesville. Immediately following the public hearing, a special meeting of electors will be called to order to adopt the 2010 Town tax levy and to set the compensation of elected officials.
Immediately following the special meeting of electors, no earlier than 7:00 p.m., the Harmony Town Board will meet. This meeting will include the public hearing for the rezoning application from James and Ellie Risch 7.2 acres of parcel #6-7-15 with discussion and possible action on the application. Other items on the agenda include discussion and possible action on recertification of the farmland preservation plan, Martin Mayer parking his semi truck near his resident in The Vineyard subdivision including driving thru the subdivision and backing up a considerable distance, and a request by The Vineyard LLC to divide 8 acres from parcel #6-7-86.
Regular items on the agenda include approval of bills, reports from the treasurer, building inspector and zoning officer, and upcoming events.
A quorum of the Planning and Zoning Committee may attend this meeting for information gathering purposes.
