We just want to make everyone aware of a phishing scam that is going on during the election. You may receive a text message or an email that says something about you not being registerd to vote. Do not respond to these. Do not enter any information. Delete the test messages or the emails. If you are questioning if you are registered to vote, go to
You can safely enter your info and find out if you are registered plus, at this sight you can register to vote and request an absentee ballot.
The phishing scam is to get info from you.
Also, many of you may receive prefilled absentee applications or registrations in the mail. In most cases those that are sent to me are incomplete and I can not enter them. If you want to register or request an absentee ballot please use the myvote website listed above or stop in to the office and I will get you taken care of.
