Tuesday August 9th Partisan Primary

August 9th Partisan Primary

The August 9th Election is a Partisan Primary.  What does that mean?  It means that at this primary, you may vote in only one party.  You will see in the sample ballot each party is listed in one column. Here is what to remember or your vote may not count…

  1. You may vote in only ONE Party’s Primary
  2. If you choose a party in the left hand column, you must still vote for each candidate you want to vote for and votes cast in the party you chose will be counted.  Votes cast in any other party will not be counted.
  3. If you do not choose a party in the left hand column and you vote in more than one party, NO VOTES WILL BE COUNTED.
